 This is David Kappel, a prolific poster on the AngloInfo Liguria forum as a whole raft of aliases; Linda Frobisher, Honeypie, Terry Waters, Stewie, Toady, Fabrice, Rach, Copper1, Bertie, Pans + Pots, Gordon Blue, Maradonna, Carly Girl, Tenya and - by the time you read this - many more. Although AngloInfo are well aware of his activities (having been informed many times) they choose to ignore them as their Liguria forum is desperately short of any real contributors. This makes them complicit in his illegal activities and the only conclusion to draw is that he is employed by them to boost what would otherwise be a very sparsely-populated forum. Disowned by his respectable London Jewish family, David is a low-rent scammer and fraudster who specialises in exploiting vulnerable women. He has runpleasant personal habits and no friends. He occupies a small villa he jointly owns with his wife and he denies her access to the house without paying any compensation. The last time she went there to discuss terms of separation he attacked her physically. For anyone who's run foul of this nasty piece of work, David lives up a track at Semoigo, a small hamlet about four kilometres outside Apricale on the way to Baiardo. You can't miss the place; the garden is unkempt and the house half-painted, a job he started then gave up on years ago. David has an interesting record of employment. His standard technique when joining a company is to burrow around for secrets (tax evasion being top of the list) that his employers would prefer to keep hidden. He is very good at this, though not at doing the job he is actually paid for, and in all cases the time eventually arrives for a confrontation. At this point he blackmails his employer into paying him off or continuing his employment. Known victims of this technique are: An English bank A central heating company in London A marketing company in Vallauris A local wine company AngloInfo (probably; why else would they put up with him?) David does not pay taxes or even declare his income in Italy as required to do so (as a resident) by law. The Guardia di Finanza (finance police) are already taking an interest in him and will be keen to speak to anyone who has had business dealings with him. Recognising David Kappel David is in his mid-50's and starting to go downhill fast. The picture above was taken in 2007, but he doesn't look this good now.
